Episode 1 - Dust and bone

In the not-so-distant future, when people no longer remember the names of their cities — and hardly care to give them new ones —there stands a place where survivors live in constant fear, trapped between hunger gnawing inside the walls and the machines that wait beyond the horizon, silent but always present. Life is harsh, resources are scarce, and power belongs to the strongest.

At the heart of it all stands Captain, the city’s strict and merciless ruler. His word is law, his punishments swift and absolute. Those who disobey him suffer, and those who cross him rarely live long enough to regret it. To the weak, he is a tyrant; to the fearful, a protector; but to all, he is unavoidable.

Gruesome murders unsettles the fragile balance, pressing on the citizens more than they can bear. A woman loved by nearly every soldier in the city is found dead, while on the outskirts a farmer vanishes, believed to have met a violent end. Only a blood-soaked shirt, discovered among the pigs, remains as evidence of his fate.

Stan, one of Captain’s men, is given the task of restoring order and finding answers, but Captain sees something else entirely. To him, the chaos is not a threat — it is an opportunity. A chance to rid himself of those he deems burdensome. A chance to wield fear as a weapon. For Captain, chaos is the tool, killing is the method, and he himself is the master craftsman.

The wiser among the people recognize this grim truth, and when justice fails to come from those meant to uphold it, all bets are off. Justice, revenge, and painful death blur together, woven into the harsh and twisted harmony of life in the ruins.

Dust and Bone drags you into a world where survival demands blood, and where the true enemy may not be the machines at the gates, but the rot consuming humanity from within.
